30 DAY SELF-DISCIPLINE ACHIEVEMENTS – SILVER STARS

CRITERIA: 
​Avoid all TV & video games
                       Eat healthy & avoid all junk food 
                       Read for at least 15 minutes each day (recreational reading only)
                       Study the same topic for the month for at least 15 minutes each day 
                       Meditate for at least five minutes each day 
                       Perform 25 push-ups each day with proper form
                       Perform 50 sit-ups each day with proper form
                       Jump rope for three minutes each day with proper form
                       Perform the same Kata for the month three times each day full power
                       Practice Karate for at least 15 minutes each day (not including other silver stars)
                      
                                           NOTE TO PARENTS: To nominate your child for a self-discipline star please submit a written request to the Academy office. Each star may be earned only once. These stars are to be sewn along the right side lapel.
